In Pakistan, New Instagram Messaging Feature ties-up Instagram and facebook messenger. Instagram users will update their messenger and will experience a cross-app messaging feature. This means through this prominent Instagram feature users will be able to do cross-communication between two people at a time. Previously available users have to update the messenger and newcomers will get new messenger automatically.


This messenger upgrade was previously launched in August and began testing from Algeria, Argentina Malaysia, and Chile. However, now this update is available for Canada, Taiwan, Pakistan, and Peru. It is worth mentioning that still, this feature is in the testing phase. Facebook is collecting feedback from the users and looking for suggested improvements in the app. In addition to this feature, the company is making efforts to enhance privacy control and safety measures.

“We want to ensure fast, reliable, secure, and fun-filled messaging, no matter which app you use. So, we are very happy to introduce the rich messaging experience for Messenger and Instagram. Consequently, you will be able to connect your contact across the Messenger and Instagram without downloading the new app”

Cross-App Communication

It is worth mentioning that Messaging has become the long way communication since the start of texting. Now, we prefer video calls over hanging out in person. Furthermore, we use memes and GIFs to express our thoughts. We use to send funny videos, photos, and voice notes to our friends and distant family members. Shockingly, private messaging is growing at a miraculous pace, more than one billion messages are being sent messenger every day. So, now everyone on Instagram and Messenger will be discoverable even if you do not upgrade. Furthermore, you will witness the brand refresh with the new and attractive logo at the same time.

“We strongly believe that messaging should not be for networking but for the people. People are often communicating and contacting the same people across multiple apps. So, we aim to make feel people connected and present. We also know that private messaging is the big way that people share and connect on our apps”

Remarkably, this new update includes more than 10 new features to make the conversation more fun, reliable, and secure. For example, the Watch Together feature allows you to share a trending post or catch up on your favorite show. Similarly, Selfie Stickers, a unique and innovative hybrid of Boomerang, selfies, and emojis. In addition to these features, users will have better control over who can message you directly. On Instagram, you will experience proactive safety notifications and you will be able to spot suspicious activities.
