Amazingly, users using 3G and 4G in Pakistan reaches a tremendous figure of 84.81 million by the end of August 2020. However, this figure was around 82.7 at the end of July 2020. Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) reports that 2.05 million new consumers did registration for 3G and 4G in Pakistan.

Furthermore, approximately one million new users add in overall mobile phone users in Pakistan. Consequently, the number of total mobile users in Pakistan has reached 168.97 million. However, this figure was around 168.04 million previous months. So, Next Generation Mobile Service (NGMS) penetration goes to 40.95 from 29.25 in one month.
As far as mobile network providers are concerned, Jazz 3G users witness fall from 10.480 million users to 10.247 million by the end of August 2020. So, Jazz bears a decrease of 0.233 million. However, Jazz 4G users go to 21.086 million from 19.982 million during this month.
Moreover, Zong 3G users become 6.118 million from 6.314 million. However, 4G Zong witnesses an increase in users from 18.131 to 18.777 million by the end of August.
Similarly, the number of uses of Telenor 3G users decreases from 6.790 million to 6.665 million. Contrarily, 4G users of Telenor jumped from 11.583 million to 12.250 million in August.
Meanwhile, Ufone 3G users decrease from 5.258 million to 5.148 million. But the number of 4G users becomes 4.534 million instead of 4.221 million by the end of August.
It is worth mentioning that the teledensity of the country increases from 79.21percent in July to 79.65 percent in August. Additionally, the number of broadband users increases from 83.17 million to 84.82 million in August. A total of 8961 complaints against telecom operators was registered by PTA. Amazingly; PTA resolved 8807 complaints i.e. 98 percent successfully.

PTA reports that Jazz leads the chart in complaints resolving and Zong holds the second position. Jazz addressed 2949 complaints while Zong resolved 2373 complaints. Doubtlessly, cellular mobile users are the major portion of the overall telecom users. Consequently, a major portion of complaints belongs to the cellular mobile segment.
