PTCL and Telenor: Inks Agreement for Data Center Services

This Tuesday, the Spokesperson for Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited told that PTCL and Telenor signed an agreement. As per this agreement between Telenor and PTCL, PTCL will provide data bank services to Telenor Microfinance Bank. So, PTCL will provide Virtual and Physical Data Center (VDC), hosting services, and security solution to IT Giant Telenor.

This Tuesday a ceremony for the agreement signage was held and senior officials from both sides attended the ceremony. It is worth mentioning that the Chief Business Services Officer (CBO) of PTCL and Chief Information Officer of Telenor were present during the ceremony.

The Chief information officer of Telenor Microfinance Bank, Khurram Gul Agha while addressing the ceremony said that

We have a promising objective of providing the best financial solutions to our customers. So, keeping our data safe and secure is of utmost importance for us. Moreover, this partnership with PTCL is a step in the right direction and depicts the quality and scale of services we offer

Furthermore, PTCL CBO, Mr. Zarrar Hasham Khan expressed his views as,

We are very happy to sign the agreement with Telenor Microfinance Bank. As PTCL is a national company, we are the leader of digitization efforts across the country. Moreover, we will keep playing our key role in the development of telecom infrastructure by providing secure and innovative solutions
