Twitterati Are Furious on PTA for Double Standards in TikTok and PUBG Case

Twitterati Are Furious on PTA after PTA imposed a ban on Bigo Live and issued a final warning to TikTok. As we all are aware of the matter that PTA received a pile of complaints against Bigo Live and TikTok from the different segments of the society. Complainants complained against the immoral, vulgar, and unsuitable content.

So, in response to these complaints, PTA took the decision to take action against these applications. This is because these applications have a negative impact on society and challenging our cultural and ethical norms

However, PTA issues warning letter to these social media companies and order them to moderate the socialization. Furthermore, these companies are asked to keep their content within the social, moral, and legal limits. Despite many warnings from PTA, the response of these social media companies is not up to the mark. So, PTA exercised its powers and blocked Bigo Live and issued a final warning to TikTok. TikTok is strictly advised to remain coherent with the social, legal, religious, and ethical norms. Furthermore, the deletion and removal of vulgar and obscenity content are mandatory for these social media companies.

However, many Twitterati are angry about PTA and bashing PTA for dual standards. They say that PTA did not issue a warning before banning the PUBG Mobile game.
